Research in Intercultural Learning

The Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR) invests in researchers who are designing, undertaking and analyzing information from investigations, experiments and trials having to do with the incorporation of intercultural learning into both the curricular and the co-curricular realm. CILMAR's investment in ICL research is apparent through the support it provides; examples include:

The newest member of the CILMAR specialist team is Dr. Lan Jin who will specialize in the writing of research publications and grants, as well as the support of others who are involved in these endeavors.

The Mini-Grant program offers grants of $500-$2000 to selected faculty and staff. The selection, which begins in February and culminates in April, is competitive and has a series of publication requirements for those who are chosen.

CILMAR offers a monthly writing group for those seeking writing support.

The Research Repository within the Intercultural Learning Hub (HubICL) contains a collection of open-access publications on a variety of intercultural learning, teaching, and assessment issues. These publications include white papers, adapted conference presentations, and research studies. All submissions to the repository are curated, and acceptances is not guaranteed.
