Purdue’s Ukrainian Scholars Initiative, launched March 25, is one of the first, largest and most ambitious university-led programs in the United States. Its goal: to help faculty members and scholars whose academic pursuits have been derailed by the conflict. As the world nears the nine-month anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, the Purdue campus and Greater Lafayette communities are rallying in support of the Ukrainian scholars arriving here as part of Purdue’s program to help them resume their academic pursuits.
