Judges sought for Fall Undergraduate Research Expo this month
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and sponsoring academic units are seeking faculty, staff, postdoctoral staff and graduate students to help evaluate presentations during the poster symposium and research talks during the 2022 Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo.
This year, the hybrid fall expo will include posters and research talks representing all academic colleges and schools with more than 300 presentations. There are many opportunities to volunteer as a judge.
The events are as follows:
- In-person poster symposium on Nov. 14 in Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballrooms with sessions at 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.
- In-person research talks/oral presentations on Nov. 16 in Stewart Center, Room 214, with hourlong sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Virtual presentations on Nov. 14-21 with no specific time or location.
To register as a symposium judge, complete the registration form on the judging information website as soon as possible. OUR will be in touch with more information and times.
The conference will showcase undergraduate students’ research of and is open to the public. Prizes will be awarded to top presentations.
