Thumbs Up Submission
Purdue Today’s weekly “Thumbs Up” feature gives faculty and staff members the chance to celebrate others for a job well done. We’d like to hear about those whose outstanding service, support and performance contribute to the success of the university.
“Thumbs Up” submissions should include the following:
- The first and last names of the employee(s) you’re recognizing
- A description of no more than 150 words detailing why the employee or team deserves recognition
- The nominator’s name and email address
Purdue Today reserves the right to edit submissions for length, grammar and clarity before publishing. Purdue Today’s list of “Thumbs Up” recipients is updated each Monday.

Thanks to John Smith for stepping in to help our team meet a recent deadline. We couldn’t have done it without his hard work. — Susan Doe
I’d like to thank the Building Services team members for the wonderful job they did cleaning Beering Hall. The building looks fantastic thanks to their work. — Sue Smith
