The $79 million Thomas S. and Harvey D. Wilmeth Active Learning Center, which will serve as a new centerpiece in the heart of Purdue's campus and as a daily destination for thousands of students, is up and running as the academic year is set to begin. The center, under construction for more than two years, offers students a unique learning experience through active learning and integrated study rooms and library spaces.
Faculty are invited to attend active learning open houses during the week of Aug. 14-18, to tour Wilmeth Active Learning Center and experience the flexibility and features it offers for teaching innovation.
