Portion of State Street reopens; other restrictions continue for State Street Redevelopment Project

The portion of State Street stretching from Salisbury Street to North University Street will reopen by Monday (Aug. 14) with a new, two-way traffic pattern throughout and some restrictions still in place. As the project moves into the final phase of 2017 construction, which will last through the end of November, some existing restrictions will remain in place.

Wilmeth Active Learning Center to offer advanced learning environment

The $79 million Thomas S. and Harvey D. Wilmeth Active Learning Center, which will serve as a new centerpiece in the heart of Purdue's campus and as a daily destination for thousands of students, is up and running as the academic year is set to begin. The center, under construction for more than two years, offers students a unique learning experience through active learning and integrated study rooms and library spaces.

Open houses to showcase active learning spaces

Faculty are invited to attend active learning open houses during the week of Aug. 14-18, to tour Wilmeth Active Learning Center and experience the flexibility and features it offers for teaching innovation.
