Thank you for being awesome! — Megan Stratton (Finance and Business Operations)

Jim Parker, Kirk Justus and Brian Bumm

Jim Parker, Kirk Justus and Brian Bumm (all Operations and Maintenance): When spring break came, they were overwhelmed with work. They were instrumental with their diligence and their teamwork. They pulled together, and we pushed through all the problems of the week. From broken pipes to plugged water lines, you never complained or gave up. Thank you, and I am proud to be working side by side with you. — Jonathan Miller (Operations and Maintenance)

Adam Beckham, Dave Burford, Izabel Salazar, Heidi Murillo Harden and Michael Mundy

Adam Beckham, Dave Burford, Izabel Salazar, Heidi Murillo Harden and Michael Mundy (Operations and Maintenance): I would like to thank Adam, Dave, Izabel, Heidi and Michael. When we started a new maintenance zone in Residential Life, we were all excited and nervous at the same time. I want to say thank you for the team effort and support you have offered all of us. All of us know if we have any problems, any one of you will be there to support us with no questions asked. I would like to thank you personally for believing in me and trusting my decision-making skills. You have helped me grow as an individual and as a professional. I look forward to many years to come working with this great group of people. — Jonathan Miller (Operations and Maintenance)

Dale Kesler

Dale Kesler (Ground Recharge Operations): Thanks for doing such a great job cleaning up leaves and debris at the back dock area of Cary Quad. It looks great! We all appreciate you. — Cheryl Dotson (Building Services — Residence Halls)

Heather Cleveland

Heather Cleveland (Sponsored Program Services): Heather kindly assisted me with a last-minute letter-of-intent submission to the National Science Foundation. On the day it was due, I realized that I couldn’t submit it directly; SPS had to do it. Heather quickly responded to my desperate email and submitted my letter within an hour of my request. Cheers! — Robin Tanamachi (Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences)

Alexandria Acosta and Lora McDaniel

Alexandria Acosta and Lora McDaniel (both Biomedical Engineering): Ali and Lora are two of our newest hires on the team. They have been doing a great job of picking up the skills needed to help the team, completing their tasks and going with the flow when the schedule needs adjusted. Keep up the great work, Ali and Lora! — Lagora Carrell (Biomedical Engineering)

Ryan Ades

Ryan Ades (College of Pharmacy): Ryan has been a rock star to work with as a rookie. Thank you for your patience as I learn the Purdue processes and requirements. You are a true leader! — Stacy Golleher (College of Pharmacy)

John Kaufman

John Kaufman (Ground Recharge Operations): I would like to recognize John for being a great help to myself and other new employees. John showed us easier and safer ways to complete our tasks and was just all around a big help. I really appreciate the patience and extra time he spent to make our job easier. — Brent Wick (Ground Recharge Operations)

Felicia Anderson

Felicia Anderson (Purdue Polytechnic Institute): As an administrative assistant, you are tasked with doing a number of things on the fly for various staff in your area. I have worked with Felicia for several years, and she is always prompt and efficient in conducting her work and helping the success of the students in whatever the issue might be. She's an asset to the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. — T.R. Oneal (Purdue Polytechnic Institute)

Jennifer Wetli

Jennifer Wetli (Office of the Vice Provost for Student Life): Jennifer Wetli does a fantastic job moderating our official Facebook page, 2024 Admitted Purdue Families, and doesn't get enough thanks for wading through the hundreds of questions and comments. Jennifer is always professional, incredibly responsive, kind and helpful to our newest Boilermakers and their families. A huge thank-you for representing us well! Boiler Up! — Kimberly Lanoue (University Residences)

Audley Eggold

Audley Eggold (Office of the Registrar): Huge shout-out to the amazing students we have working for us. Audley spent a bit of time on the phone — a long bit of time — helping a former student set up an electronic transcript account so they could access their record. She was very kind and patient and provided great knowledge. The former student was so appreciative that they took time to send her a hand-written card. We are so lucky to have student employees like her! — Lesa Beals (Office of the Registrar)

Riley Eaton

Riley Eaton (Office of the Registrar): With a recent loss of a full-time staff member in the middle of a huge, historic imaging project, Riley was tagged to step in and oversee the remaining implementation. With only one chance to do it right, she stepped up into a leadership role, asked great clarifying questions and is now leading her other students to completion of the project. Honorable mention to her fellow intern Audley Eggold and student workers Clancy Hawbaker, Jessica Nwokeji and Colleen Schneider. — Lesa Beals (Office of the Registrar)

Building Services staff in the Physical Facilities Service Building

Building Services staff in the Physical Facilities Service Building: Our team of Building Services staff is the best! Life threw them a curve ball, and they did not skip a beat. They maintained their daily activities and kept a project on schedule. Thank you to Lisa Cross, Rhoda Spear, Elizabeth Martinez, Ana Laura Estrada, Sabrina Stigers and Najib Wardag. You all rock and are fantastic! — Terri Griffin

James Stanchfield

James Stanchfield (Purdue University Online): I reach out to James regularly for help with my course in Brightspace. He is always very responsive, helpful and goes above and beyond to get the answers I need if he does not automatically have them. Recently, Brightspace was having issues displaying assignments for grading, but only for some users. When I reached out to James, he was not sure of the fix but had heard from other instructors who were having the same issue. He never gave up on his search for an answer to this issue, ultimately getting it fixed. He would often send me emails letting me know he had not forgotten about my issues and was still working on a fix. I was never left wondering if this fell to the bottom of a list or was forgotten. Thank you for all you do for Purdue IT, James. Your efforts do not go unnoticed! — Amy Cochran (Agricultural Economics)

Allen Brooks and Emmett Davis

Allen Brooks and Emmett Davis (both Operations and Maintenance): We had three security door issues at G333. Allen and Emmett got there quickly and made sure all door issues were addressed. They have a positive and helpful attitude. When it came to the student’s door, they made her feel important and safe. Thank you both so much for all that you do, not only for me but for this campus. — Izzy Salazar (Operations and Maintenance)
