Winter Session Support

Winter Session Support: A big thank-you for the efforts of Jeff Elliot and Christina King (both University Undergraduate Advising); Lesa Beals and Jill Manuel (both Office of the Registrar); Joel Wenger and Matt Bowers (both Financial Aid); Andrea Mattingly (Student Success) and her marketing and communications team; Ryne Kerchner (Purdue Online); Karen Neubauer (Center for Instructional Excellence and the Division of Teaching and Learning); Beth Moore (Office of the Dean of Students); and the dedicated course instructors, department heads, scheduling deputies, amazing academic advisors and the numerous student resource offices. Your collective contributions were instrumental in assisting over 500 undergraduate students in completing online courses this winter break. Steve Clingenpeel

Steve Clingenpeel (Operations and Maintenance): We found ourselves in a bind last week when all three of our ice machines stopped working. As luck would have it, our department’s regular technician was on vacation. Fortunately for us, Steve Clingenpeel is stationed in Hillenbrand's basement and noticed the ice machines were not working. Steve went to work on two of the ice machines and got them running right before lunch service. Steve saved the day, and we are extremely thankful for his efforts. — Eric Coates (Hillenbrand Dining)
