Purdue is definitely working on its share in performing arts, as Three Stories High: A Downtown Theatre Collection comes to the area through the efforts of Purdue Convocations. Among other stage sensations coming soon, Brad Paisley might be pleasing to more than few folks. Live performance is happening. Don't Miss It!

A pre-retirement exhibition of textile works by Professor Lisa Lee Peterson will be at the Rueff Galleries in Pao Hall through Feb. 13. The title is "Eats, Shoots, and Weaves: Growing Up American with an Asian Face." Details

JANUARY 28-FEBRUARY 4

Three Stories High: A Downtown Theatre Collection is a Convocations series in at least three dimensions. Three different productions will use three venues at various hours across five days, offering theatre buffs some street smarts of a sort. Details

Books and Coffee from the Department of English opens its 65th year, which will feature warm drinks, prize drawings and thoughtful commentary on an interesting book at 4-5 p.m. on each of February's four Thursdays. The first one is in STEW 302/306. The others will be in PMU's North Ballroom. Details

The often-traveling Purdue Varsity Glee Club invites the home crowd to make the short hop to a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Lafayette. Details

Brad Paisley, one of country music's biggest names, will bring Parmalee and The Swon Brothers for an 8 p.m. date sure to add to the annals of the Elliott Hall of Music stage. Details
