Veteran and Military Success Center Student Success Programs

Yellow Ribbon Program

If you do not meet the criteria to qualify for In-State residency rates based our military policies, we do offer the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The Yellow Ribbon Program is used in combination with your GI Bill ® education benefits and can help offset the cost of out of state tuition. Yellow Ribbon covers up to $7000 of the $9401 charged for non-resident charges per semester. We offer this benefit to up to 50 students per year and you must be using the Post 9/11 GI Bill ® with 100% entitlement level. These spots are awarded on a first come, first received basis.

It is best to fax or email when returning this document. Upon receipt of your application, if a Yellow Ribbon spot is available you will be added to the recipients list. If a spot is not available you will be added to our waiting list and notified via email if a spot opens. If a spot is not obtained in the academic year for which you applied, you will need to submit a new form the following academic year.

Once the Yellow Ribbon benefit is awarded, the student will continue to receive it each semester as long as they stay continuously enrolled and are using GI Bill ® benefits.
