Built upon the five pillars of the Healthy Boiler Program, Purdue’s benefits package includes many parts, such as medical insurance, leaves, retirement, prescription coverage, family-friendly programs, voluntary benefits and more. When questions arise, Purdue employees have options to find the needed answers, including the benefits website, HR website for all other HR-related items and Purdue’s HR service center.

Discovery Park District at Purdue

Ascension St. Vincent neighborhood hospital coming to Purdue campus

Ascension St. Vincent and Purdue University have announced plans to build a neighborhood hospital in the Discovery Park District at Purdue, adjacent to Purdue's campus. Ascension St. Vincent has purchased seven acres from the University, located at the northeast corner of Airport Road and U.S. 231. The facility will bring inpatient and emergency care within the city of West Lafayette for the first time.

Renovations modernize PMU dining level, celebrate Purdue history

Now known as the Atlas Family Marketplace, the Purdue Memorial Union’s renovated ground floor looks like an entirely different space to most visitors. But when they see the many nods to Purdue and PMU history embedded within the new layout, even staunch Purdue traditionalists can find elements to appreciate about the additions to the century-old building. When Purdue student Sabrina Dopp joined the Purdue University Latin and Ballroom Dance Team, she hadn’t danced in eight years. Now, Dopp says that dance is one of the most important parts of her Purdue experience. Dance allows this exploratory studies-turned-business major to stay active, make friends and express herself in a different way. Laura Pyrak-Nolte, Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy, has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Pyrak-Nolte's work is dedicated to environmental safety and enhancing renewable energy production.
