Spring Fling History

Since 1982, Purdue University has hosted an annual tradition dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of our faculty, staff, and retirees. Organized by a committed team of employees and retirees from across campus, this event provides an opportunity for the Purdue community to come together, connect with colleagues, and enjoy a well-deserved day of appreciation. Attendees can enjoy lunch, lawn games, bingo, fitness activities, and live entertainment while taking time to relax and celebrate their shared accomplishments. The event is held each May after commencement ceremonies.
