The Purdue community is invited to help celebrate the assets and strengths embodied by first-generation college students during this year’s Proud to be F1RST! Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom.

Everyone is welcome as we build community among first-generation college students, staff, faculty, and advocates while enjoying refreshments and giveaways.

This event is one of many occurring across campus as part of Purdue’s First-Gen College Student Celebration Week. For more information about this campus initiative, please visit the First Generation website. For college-specific events, please visit their website or social media.

Thank you to all of the campus partners making this event possible, including Purdue University Student Life; Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning; the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging; and Libraries and School of Information Studies.
