Additional questions for Purdue users:
- The faculty list comes from Purdue’s HR October snapshot corresponding to the database release year. Faculty placements are based on primary appointment. See Academic Analytics FAQ documentation for more details. If an error is found, please contact IDA+A (idata@purdue.edu)
- Although the databases utilized by Academic Analytics are robust, not all data are captured in the tool. See data source explanations in Academic Analytics FAQ documentation.
- Yes, peer lists can be generated within the Academic Analytics portal. Peers can be selected based on institution type or a list of specific institutions. In the event that peer lists generated through the Academic Analytics portal need to be adjusted further, a list with specific departments and/or programs can be submitted to IDA+A. At least 2 week lead time is necessary for processing custom peer lists.
