Southwest Airlines

Employees may register for the Corporate Tier Experience using their Purdue email address through March 31, 2026 to receive A-List status for 90 days. Employees may then be able to extend A-List status for an additional 12 months if they meet one of the two following requirements:

Book and complete three round-trip qualifying flights or six one-way qualifying flights
Earn 8,000 tier qualifying points from qualifying flights booked and flown between the enrollment date for this promotion and the end of the 90-day promotional period

Some of the benefits included with A-List status include:

Ability to choose a Preferred seat at the time of booking; ability to choose an Extra Legroom seat within 48 hours of departure
Priority boarding, no later than group 5
One free checked bag, second checked bag $35
Priority Lane and Express Lane access
Same-day standby
25% Rapid Rewards points earning bonus

This promotion is available to all Purdue employees, including those at Purdue University Northwest and Purdue University Fort Wayne, as well as Purdue For Life employees.
