Daytime, evening parking restrictions planned Sept. 3-5 for Friday football game
Faculty, staff, students and visitors should be aware and plan ahead for daytime and evening parking restrictions Thursday through Saturday (Sept. 3-5) due to Friday’s home football game.
The university recognizes the impact this has on faculty, staff and students and has added alternate parking locations with dedicated shuttle service to central campus so university activities can continue uninterrupted.

Thursday (Sept. 3)
- Select parking lots will be unavailable beginning at 4 and 5 p.m. and continuing through Saturday morning.
- Parking garages will operate normally with no pregame restrictions.
Friday (Sept. 4)
Parking
- All individuals with eligible parking permits can park as usual in the Northwestern Avenue and University Street parking garages and will not need to vacate if parked prior to 3 p.m. Once event parking begins at 3 p.m., only those with a paid athletic event parking pass will be able to enter.
- Other parking garages will follow normal operations all day.
- A number of parking lots and street parking will be unavailable in the vicinity of Ross-Ade Stadium and west campus beginning at 7 a.m. for normal game-day operations.
- All university parking south of Mitch Daniels Boulevard, except for the Discovery Park lot, will be open with no ticketing, relocations or towing, unless deemed necessary by public safety officials.
- Alternate parking for any permit holder is available at the Purdue University Airport east gravel lot, the field northwest of Mitch Daniels Boulevard and McCormick Road, the Harrison Street Parking Garage and 2550 Northwestern Ave. Parking attendants will redirect motorists to a different alternate parking location if that location is full.
Campus Transit
Purdue Campus Transit will run modified routes all day and serve these alternate locations, as shown on the map. Permit holders who plan to use Campus Transit from one of these locations should allow extra time to park and board the shuttle.
Campus Connect
The Purdue Campus Connect shuttle between West Lafayette and Indianapolis will run but will only be picking up and dropping off passengers at the Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center location. There will be no stops at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center.
