Campus Transit service now available in Indianapolis

In partnership with Royal Excursion, Purdue Administrative Operations recently rolled out centralized transit service at the Indianapolis location.
The new Campus Transit service provides faculty, staff and students in Indianapolis a shuttle on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at no cost. The one-hour continuous loop service starts and ends at the Indianapolis location just east of the West Vermont Street and Blackford Street intersection. The shuttle then stops at 16 Tech Innovation District and Motorsports Engineering at Dallara in Speedway before returning to campus.
Although the shuttle operates on a first-come basis with no preregistration or reservations required, riders may be asked to show their PUID when boarding. Shuttle tracking will be available online, and information will be added to the Indianapolis Campus Transit webpage soon.
Campus Transit operates an ADA-accessible, 24-passenger bus when classes are in session. Shuttle service will pause when the university is closed for holidays and breaks.
For those who need to travel between Purdue’s Indianapolis and West Lafayette locations, the free Campus Connect shuttle continues to offer eight rides in each direction Monday through Friday with six roundtrips on Saturday and Sunday.
