Campus Transit

Purdue University now partners with Royal Excursion to provide transit service in Indianapolis. The shuttle is offered during the fall and spring when classes are in session.

New for the 2026-27 academic year and beginning on Aug. 24, Purdue Campus Transit service is available at no cost to Purdue students, faculty and staff in Indianapolis. Service supports Purdue’s Indianapolis location and nearby programming. Riders may need to show their PUID when boarding.

Campus Transit is provided independently of IU Indianapolis Jagline and Indianapolis IndyGo transit services, which remain available for use.

Route Information

Campus Transit will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during fall and spring academic semesters. The continuous route includes three stops:

Mobile App

Riders can use the R2U Connect app (Google Play/Apple Store) and create an account using their Purdue email address to track the shuttle. If the R2U app is already in use for Campus Connect shuttle service between West Lafayette and Indianapolis, the same account will be used for Campus Transit service in Indianapolis.
