Purdue Food Co. shares membership savings and dining updates
Purdue Food Co. is helping students, faculty and staff save on campus dining with a limited-time promotion on their Retail Dining Memberships. Through Sept. 11, individuals who purchase a membership valued at $180 or more will receive an additional $50 in bonus dining dollars.
Available in a variety of levels, Retail Dining Memberships—which are separate from meal plans—provide a flexible and convenient way to pay for meals, snacks and beverages at all Purdue Food Co. locations across campus, including Starbucks, Panera Bread, Saxbys, Jersey Mike’s, Purdue Memorial Union (PMU) dining locations and campus markets. Memberships can be used throughout the day, making it easy to grab coffee, lunch, dinner or snacks while enjoying additional value on dining purchases. Unused dollars remaining at the end of the fall semester will carry over to the spring semester. More information and plan details are available on the Purdue Food Co. website.
In addition to membership savings, Purdue Food Co. has several location and menu updates for the fall semester:
- Any Way You Slice It
- Located in the PMU, Any Way You Slice It has reopened with an expanded menu featuring pizza, hot sandwiches, pasta and other new offerings.
- Food Lab
- Food Lab has expanded its menu with Greens to Go, a new lineup of fresh salad offerings, while continuing to serve the popular dirty sodas guests have come to enjoy on the ground floor of the PMU.
- Java House
- The Java House located in Armstrong Hall of Engineering has closed following the closure of all Greater Lafayette Java House locations. Plans for a replacement concept are currently under development, and additional updates will be shared as they become available.
- Boilermaker Market @PMU
- Following a successful pilot program during the spring semester, kosher grab-and-go meal options will return to the market this fall, providing additional dining choices for the campus community.

Alongside expanded dining options and membership savings, Purdue Food Co. is developing a new campus food delivery solution. Following Starship Technologies’ decision to discontinue service on campuses nationwide, the university has been exploring replacement options to continue providing convenient access to food and beverages across campus. Purdue Food Co. expects to announce details about a new delivery service later this fall. Additional information will be shared with the campus community as plans and implementation timelines are finalized.
