Jade Lee was awarded the Gilman Scholarship to study abroad in Germany as part of the University Hannover exchange program. While there, she will have a chance to take courses in interdisciplinary engineering, one of Hannover’s specialties. With her aspirations of medical technology innovation, Germany provides the perfect place to study abroad and build connections due to the country’s strength in the global medical device industry.

 

In her free time, Jade enjoys sketching and viewing artwork. The chance to visit a few of Germany’s many art museums and libraries is something she looks forward to while there.

 

Eager to share her experiences overseas, Jade anticipates getting to promote at fairs and build recruitment materials to convince future students to consider studying overseas.
