Sara received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) grant to teach in Greece. Cultural exchange has been a part of her life for years. One of her friends introduced her to Greek culture when she was in high school. Already practiced in sharing stories and traditions, Sara looks forward to continuing to participate in cultural exchange through Fulbright.

 

Curiosity motivates Sara. It led her to ask herself challenging questions that solidified her convictions. She hopes to cultivate curiosity and lifelong learning in the lives of her students. In the classroom, she will bring experience and empathy while instilling the importance of perseverance. As an elementary education major, Fulbright will provide additional enrichment to her future role as an educator.
