Established in 2001, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is committed to sending American students of limited financial means from all backgrounds to study abroad.

 

Brittney Frenger received a Gilman Scholarship to study abroad in Malawi where she will conduct research as a veterinary assistant at the Lilongwe Wildlife Center. As a veterinary technology major, she is excited to gain experience working with a variety of animals, which prepares her well for her future aspirations as a veterinary technologist.
