‘Leaky’ noble gas behavior could provide missing link in predicting climate change

Marissa Tremblay, professor of geochemistry in Purdue’s Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, has developed a novel method of measuring the temperature history of continental surfaces, which could help scientists working to discover innovative ways of understanding and addressing climate change.

COVID pandemic can lead to better food safety, if you get the right information

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to many people practicing better hand-washing and sanitation practices in their homes to stop the spread of the virus, and a team of food scientists led by Purdue believes those actions pose an opportunity to thwart foodborne illnesses.

Adranos receives $5.1 million in incentives for Indiana-based manufacturing plant

Adranos Inc., a Purdue-affiliated company that has developed a high-performance, solid rocket fuel called ALITEC for long-range missile and space launch systems, has announced plans to construct a facility in the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette to manufacture ALITEC in support of various launch systems, including hypersonic systems.
