Engagement and Service-Learning Summit set for Feb. 29

The Office of Engagement in partnership with the Office of Service-Learning is inviting community partners, faculty, staff and students from all Purdue campuses to the 2024 Engagement and Service-Learning Summit, set for 2:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Discovery Learning Research Center.

The summit is a call to leap forward for local impact and celebrate collective giant leaps for engagement in Greater Lafayette and beyond. Attendees will commemorate local community impact, create new connections and recognize incredible engagement work. The event will feature lightning talks from engaged faculty, staff, students and community partners; networking activities; a student showcase; and happy hour.

Faculty and staff will have the opportunity to connect with community partners and engage with Purdue peers, students can share their work and compete in the Student Engagement Showcase, and community members will be able to connect with faculty and staff to ignite new collaborations.

Faculty, staff, students and community partners can register for the event until Feb. 26. A full agenda and a registration link can be found on the Engagement and Service-Learning Summit website.

Questions about event registration, location and parking can be directed to Robert Ooms, lead events planner in Purdue Conferences, at rooms@purdue.edu. For all other questions, contact Lindsey Payne, director of service-learning, at paynel@purdue.edu.
