Engagement and Service-Learning Summit student showcase now accepting submissions

Students from across Purdue’s campuses are invited to showcase their community engagement projects as part of service-learning courses or engagement organizations during the Engagement and Service-Learning Summit on March 2 at the Discovery Learning Research Center.

The session’s goal is to showcase student efforts with faculty, community partners and other students rather than judge them. Submissions will be accepted as posters or digital stories. The top three submissions will be awarded cash prizes of $150, $100 and $50, respectively. Check out the Summit event site and Showcase info site for more information.

To apply for the showcase, submit a brief abstract (maximum of 150 words) by 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 1 via the Summit website. Event registration and abstract submission will open in January.

Questions about the showcase may be directed to Carly Evich, graduate assistant for service-learning, at cevich@purdue.edu. Other questions about the summit may be directed to Robert Elliot, lead event planner, at relliot@purdue.edu.
