Parking and Transportation Services encourages purchasing University Vehicle permits by July 15; current permits to expire Aug. 1
As was recently announced, all University Vehicle (UV) permits will expire on Aug. 1. New permits will be valid for a single year from Aug. 1, 2022, to Aug. 1, 2023, instead of the previously allowed five-year period.
Those who wish to purchase one or more of the $500 UV hangtags for the coming year should complete the online form after getting dean or department head approval. UV permits are not eligible for payroll deduction, and an account number must be provided in the request form for payment.
Campus units and departments are encouraged to purchase new UV permits by July 15, as the permits will be issued through campus mail starting the week of July 18. Permits purchased after July 15 will take one to two weeks to process.
Individuals will be subject to a parking citation if an expired UV hangtag is displayed after Aug. 1.
UV spaces are located in all parking garages and close to most buildings.
Questions may be directed to Parking and Transportation Services from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 765-494-9497 or parking@purdue.edu.
