Enhancement to SupportLinc platform streamlines usage via one username, password

An enhancement to the SupportLinc web and mobile platform as of July 17 will improve access to resources through SupportLinc, the provider of behavioral health services for Purdue’s West Lafayette campus.

Users are now able to create a username and password that will allow them to take a personalized approach to care within the SupportLinc web and mobile platform, which means users will need only one account to access all the digital care modalities that the SupportLinc program has to offer. Users will no longer need to remember multiple passwords.

Users who have and have not already created log-on information for Animo or TextCoach will take advantage of the enhancement in the following way:

  1. If the user has NOT created a username and password for either Animo or TextCoach, at the home page of the SupportLinc site, they will be asked one time to create log-in information that will allow them to have access to everything under it.
  2. If the user HAS already created a username and password for either Animo or TextCoach, they can enter in that information, and the system will sync their log-in information for them automatically behind the scenes. The user will then have access to everything under that log-in information.

If the user is unsure if they have created a username or password previously, there is a “Help” button that they can use if needed.

In addition to this enhanced user experience, individuals can now schedule care within the platform, based on their preferences. Once logged in to the web or mobile platform, look for the calendar icon, labeled “Schedule Care,” within the access bar.

SupportLinc provides individuals with choices when it comes to providing personalized access to behavioral health care. Whether they are looking for coaching to boost their sleep fitness, counseling to address depression or anxiety or resources to help them balance multiple demands, the SupportLinc program has them covered.

All requests for information or assistance through the SupportLinc program are free of charge and completely confidential. Employees can contact SupportLinc anytime, around the clock, 365 days a year.
