New quote request process and vendor available for tent, event equipment rentals

Procurement Services has negotiated special pricing with a new partner, American Tool and Party Rental, for University business tent and event needs. Midwest Rentals has provided special pricing to the campus community for the past several years and remains a Purdue partner for related equipment rentals.

The campus community can now use a new online form to simultaneously request pricing quotes from both companies. The new form helps streamline the quoting process, provides contacts and approvers for various event planning needs, and gathers consistent information about planned events to simplify quotes and reduce the frequency of requoting. After submitting the form, customers will receive quotes within two to three business days by email.

With a second partner now in place, event planners will be able to choose between providers based on competitive pricing and/or equipment availability for scheduled events.

A request for a quote for any event requiring the use of a tent should be submitted at least four weeks in advance. Quotes for non-tent events should be submitted at least two weeks before the scheduled date.

Additional information for both rental partners, a combined pricing guide, the link to the quote request form and event contacts and materials are available on the Procurement Services website. The pricing guide may be accessed by entering Purdue login credentials when prompted. The most up-to-date pricing available to the University will always be available online.
