Judges sought for spring Undergraduate Research Conference in April
The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and sponsoring academic units are seeking faculty, staff, postdoctoral staff and graduate students to help evaluate presentations during the poster symposium and research talks for the Purdue Spring Undergraduate Research Conference.
This year, the hybrid Spring Conference will include posters and research talks representing all academic colleges and schools with almost 500 presentations. There are many opportunities to volunteer for judging with 400+ student presenters planning to present in-person for the first time at this event since spring 2019.
The events are as follows:
- In-person poster symposium on April 12 in Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballrooms with sessions at 9:30 a.m.-noon and 1-3:30 p.m.
- In-person research talks/oral presentations on April 12 in Stewart Center, Room 214, with hourlong sessions 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Virtual presentations from April 11-18 with no specific time or location.
To register as a judge for the symposium, complete the registration form on the Judging Information website as soon as possible. OUR will be in touch with more information and times.
The conference will showcase the research of undergraduate students and is open to the public. Prizes will be awarded from each participating academic unit.
