Fidelity to offer lineup of workshops, more during America Saves Week

America Saves Week and the week's workshops support the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

America Saves Week (ASW), which provides an opportunity to emphasize savings and financial planning for today and in retirement, begins Monday (Feb. 21) and will run through Friday (Feb. 25). Fidelity, Purdue’s retirement planning and guidance partner, is offering an array of free online workshops at a variety of times throughout the week. ASW and the workshops offered support the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Workshops

Fidelity’s ASW workshops focus on things such as managing money, investing for your future, identifying and prioritizing savings goals and more. Workshops are offered by Fidelity at other times as well, but ASW is a time to concentrate on taking steps forward in financial wellness and building financial resiliency.

Ask Fidelity – America Saves Week

As part of ASW, Fidelity is also offering daily Ask Fidelity sessions to help individuals maximize their Purdue Retirement Program contributions. The schedule and registration links are below:

• Save Automatically -- noon to 12:30 p.m. ET Monday (Feb. 21)
• Save for the Unexpected -- noon to 12:30 p.m. ET Tuesday (Feb. 22)
• Save to Retire -- noon to 12:30 p.m. ET Wednesday (Feb. 23)
• Save by Reducing Debt -- noon to 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday (Feb. 24)
• Save as a Family -- noon to 12:30 p.m. ET Friday (Feb. 25)

 One-on-One consultations with Fidelity retirement planners available

The service is complimentary and planning partners are welcome to join. Services offered include:

• Helping you enroll in defined contribution or voluntary savings retirement plans.
• Answering retirement questions.
• Developing a comprehensive investment strategy.
• Helping you plan for retirement income.
• Explaining your options for taking money from your account(s) at retirement.
