Faculty and staff encouraged to provide feedback for classroom master plan
All faculty, staff and students on the West Lafayette campus are invited to attend an open house designed to collect input for the campuswide classroom master plan. Participants will share ideas regarding classroom design, study needs and teaching and learning preferences.
The open house is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday (March 9) in the west lobby of Stewart Center. The west lobby is the first-floor lobby area outside of HSSE library, under the mural.
Representatives from consulting firm Ayers Saint Gross will lead the process, answer questions and discuss ideas.
The Office of the Provost announced last semester that it was launching a campuswide classroom master planning effort that would support the University’s world-class educational environment, enrollment growth and the Transformative Education 2.0 initiative.
The project, a collaboration between the Office of the Provost and Physical Facilities, will better align physical and technological inventories with current and future pedagogies to meet the University’s needs over the next decade.
The initial phase of the classroom master planning effort is expected to conclude in the summer of 2022.
