Fidelity offering lineup of workshops, more during America Saves Week on Feb. 22-26

America Saves Week, which provides an opportunity to emphasize savings and financial planning for today and in retirement, begins Feb. 22 and runs through Feb. 26. Fidelity, Purdue’s retirement planning and guidance partner, is offering an array of free online workshops at a variety of times throughout the week. America Saves Week and the workshops support the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Fidelity’s America Saves Week workshops focus on things such as creating a budget, getting started to save for the future,  paying for college, maximizing Social Security, investing for retirement and preparing for health care costs in retirement. Workshops are offered by Fidelity at other times as well, but America Saves Week is a time to concentrate on taking steps forward in financial wellness.

Ask Fidelity – America Saves Week

As part of America Saves Week, Fidelity is also offering a special Ask Fidelity session to help individuals maximize their Purdue Retirement Program contributions. The session will take place at noon ET on Feb. 24. Webinar registration is now open.
