Office of the Dean of Students available to assist students in need of support

As classes continue remotely for the remainder of the semester, the Office of the Dean of Students is available to assist in identifying and providing support for students.

Examples of concerning behavior in a remote learning environment may include concerning comments in electronic communication or social media, a change in behavior such as a lack of engagement in coursework or marked drop in performance, or stopped communication and no responses to academic outreach. Instructors who recognize a student in need of care should share their concern with ODOS.

In this time, some students have been isolated from a support network. Campus resources that can be offered to these students include:

* Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS remains available to provide students mental health assistance and can be reached at 765-494-6995.

* WellTrack. WellTrack continues to provide online interactive self-help therapy.

* Office of the Dean of Students. ODOS can help students navigate challenges they are experiencing both personally and academically.

Additionally, student of concern reports, which can be submitted here, prompt individual outreach to students by members of ODOS.
