RecWell to offer free one-week trial membership to faculty and staff

Purdue Recreation & Wellness (RecWell) will offer free one-week trial memberships to faculty and staff in January. The trial membership at the Co-Rec supports the physical health and social wellness pillars of Purdue's Healthy Boiler Program.

Trial membership must be redeemed with a photo ID from Jan. 2 to Jan. 30. Trial members will have building access from 5:30 a.m.-midnight on weekdays, 8 a.m.-midnight on Saturdays, and 10 a.m.-midnight on Sundays.

Purdue Recreation & Wellness invites faculty and staff to pursue active, healthy lifestyles in the new year. Trial members will have access to over 435,000 square feet of space for activities like basketball, racquet sports, meditation, swimming, volleyball, indoor turf sports and climbing, as well as fitness equipment, two jogging or walking tracks. Group fitness classes will be free from Jan. 13-19 to everyone with RecWell access.

Many of these opportunities are in the Córdova Recreational Sports Center (the Co-Rec), which also offers a locker room, showers, a sauna and day lockers that participants can keep their things in. There is on-site parking for A, B and C permits. Additional A and B permit spaces are available nearby.

After the trial period, faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a full access membership for $34 per month.
