Don't Miss It!

Alan Stern, talk on Pluto event graphic Alan Stern, planetary scientist, to speak

Pluto is out there, really out there, but Alan Stern, who led NASA’s New Horizons mission, which included the famous fly-by of Pluto, is on good enough terms with it to engage the question “What IF We Return to Pluto?” Some may say that notion is way out there too, but one characteristic of Purdue’s Ideas Festival is to contemplate possibilities that seem to be on the edge of reality. Stern’s talk is part of the official closing week of the festival and Purdue’s 150th anniversary Giant Leaps Sesquicentennial Campaign. Don’t Miss It!
