SuccessFactors timekeeping training resources available

Dec. 24 through Jan. 6 is the first biweekly pay period processed through SuccessFactors. Those working holiday or winter recess hours will have access to SuccessFactors to record time.

Employees will record time one of three ways:

* Negative time entry profile -- Does not record time or submit timesheets unless recording time worked is more than regular schedule indicates (i.e., overtime or call back).
* Positive time entry profile -- Records hours worked each day and submits timesheet weekly.
* Purdue Webclock -- Records hours worked by clock-in and clock-out times. Employees clock in and out at a kiosk or by accessing webclock.purdue.edu on their mobile device or a computer.

Employees and supervisors can edit current time and timesheets two pay periods back. Employees should contact their business office for changes further back. They will gather required information and submit the request to Payroll.

Those currently using paper time cards or Kronos and transitioning to positive or negative time entry will notice:

* The SuccessFactors timesheet is easy to navigate and edit.
* Time-off requests are processed through the Time Off tile and then populate the timesheet.
* Timesheets should be submitted weekly.

Those currently using Kronos and transitioning to the Webclock will notice:

* Time pairs can be edited by supervisor and employee through Webclock.
* Time-off requests are processed through the Time Off tile in SuccessFactors.

Supervisors will contact the business office to create or edit work schedules and time entry profiles.

Timekeeping training resources are located on the Employee Information, Timekeeping and Time Off tile located on the Training webpage. Employees can also use www.purdue.edu/timehelp to get to the webpage.

* Supervisor presentation for negative time

The below resources are used by employees using a Kiosk or accessing the Webclock via mobile device to clock in and out.

* For employees
