Multiple sources of information available regarding transformation project
As Purdue's transformation project continues, several sources of information are available to keep faculty and staff updated on the project. The transformation project is a two-year plan focused on redesigning and transforming business processes while at the same time removing the current SAP structural impediments.
Message from Bill Sullivan
Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Bill Sullivan, who is also the primary project sponsor for the transformation project, is featured on the home page of the Transform Purdue website. He introduces why now is the best time to transform the way we do business at Purdue and reiterates his passion for the project.
Update sessions scheduled
Employees who are interested in learning more about the transformation projects currently underway are encouraged to attend a Transforming Purdue Business Project Update session.
The update sessions will offer progress reports on the three ongoing transformation projects:
* Enterprise Asset Management (Maintenance and Capital Projects).
* Human Capital Management.
* General Ledger (Finance).
Registration is now open for Transforming Purdue Business Project Update sessions. In order to accommodate as many schedules as possible, WebEx options will be offered from two of the facilitator-led sessions. Be sure to register for the session type that best fits your needs. In addition, a summary will be shared on the Transform Purdue website following the sessions.
Communication efforts continue
In order to keep the Purdue community up-to-date with progress being made within each respective project, communications will continue to be shared via numerous outlets including the Transform Purdue website, Transform Purdue blog, Transform@Purdue newsletter, Purdue Today and more.
Additionally, Key Messages will be delivered monthly to university leadership, change network members, the advisory committee and APSAC and CSSAC chairs in order to ensure everyone has the most recent project-specific information on hand.
Questions regarding the transformation can be sent to bpr@purdue.edu.
