2026 One Hour with HR sessions announced

New topics for training sessions in Human Resources’ One Hour with HR program are being offered in 2026.

All programming this year will be virtual.

January’s session, “Creating Your Data Story — How to Gather and Interpret Data to Drive Outcomes,” will build on a previous workshop (“Understanding Data”). The session will focus on turning key performance indicators, benchmarks and trends into clear stories that inform decisions. Attendees will learn simple visualization techniques, practice framing insights to persuade decision-makers and talk about the ongoing process of leveraging data over time to drive change.

The session will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 27. Online registration is available. Once registered, the Teams link for the session will be sent in a separate email.

Additional upcoming sessions include:

  • Feb. 17: “Your Path to Wellness”
  • March 24: “Navigating Career Paths at Purdue: From Role to Growth”
  • April 28: “AI at Work: Making Everyday Tasks Smarter”
  • May 19: “Conversations That Empower: Building a Coaching Mindset in Higher Education”
  • June 23: “Moving Forward in Four”
