The Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and sponsoring academic units are seeking faculty, staff, post-docs, and graduate students to help evaluate poster, talk, and virtual presentations for the Purdue Spring Undergraduate Research Conference.

This year, the hybrid Spring Conference will include posters and research talks representing all academic colleges and schools with over 550 presentations. The abstract booklet and presentation schedules are now available. There are many opportunities to volunteer for judging with many (500+) student presenters planning to present in-person:

  • In-person poster symposium on April 11 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballrooms with session from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • In-person research talks on April 13 in Stewart 214 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Virtual presentations from April 10-14 available on the Conference website.

To register as a judge for the symposium, please complete the registration form on the Judging Information website as soon as possible. The Purdue OUR will be in touch with more information and times after you sign-up.

New this time is a judging incentive for those who submit more than nine completed (e.g., excludes “no-shows”) formal evaluations. If an individual is a Purdue faculty, staff, postdoc, graduate student, or official retiree, registers with the official Qualtrics form, and is assigned a time to judge, they will receive a $25 gift card.

The conference will showcase the research of undergraduate students and is open to the public. Prizes will be awarded from each academic unit participating.
