Time sheet, payroll deadlines released in preparation for winter recess

The biweekly pay period for Dec. 7-20, which is biweekly pay period 26, has been adjusted.

All time must be entered and submitted by the end of the day on Dec. 15, and all supervisors must approve time by 10 p.m. Dec. 16.

All nonexempt employees who work Dec. 16-20 will be estimating their hours – whether they are on a positive time profile or a negative time profile. A Quick Reference Guide is available for guidance. Estimated time must be entered and saved in order to be paid.

For days designated as part of the winter recess – Dec. 21, 22, 29, 30 and 31 – nonexempt benefits-eligible employees will need to submit a leave request for “Other Leave (with Pay)." A Quick Reference Guide is available for guidance.

Supervisors with employees using the time clock or entering time on a time sheet need to approve time by 10 p.m. Dec. 16 for this pay period. Nonexempt benefits-eligible employees need to submit leave requests for winter recess days in order to be paid for those days.

Exempt employees will be paid normally and do not need to take any steps to record time not worked during the winter recess.

The payroll calendar has been updated to reflect this information. Any questions can be directed to timeadmin@purdue.edu.
