Purdue's defined contribution plan investment platform includes a range of investing alternatives. The MetLife Stable Value seeks to provide participants an option that offers earinings stability and liquidity, while delivering a guarantee of principal and interest.
Each year, an evaluation of the portfolio is calculated and a new credited rate is established for the subsequent 12 month period.
