Gardening Online at Purdue University

Gardeners will find a wealth of information at their fingertips from the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service. And the best part is, thanks to the Internet, this information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays!

Several departments at Purdue have Web sites of interest to gardeners. Horticulture offers a broad range of information on the Consumer Horticulture Web site, including current news releases, Extension publications, upcoming events and a list of public gardens to visit in Indiana. There’s general information about the Master Gardener Program, as well as a list of the counties sponsoring trainings and how to contact the local coordinators. And we are adding new information all the time. To visit the Consumer Horticulture home page, set your Web browser to http://www.hort.purdue.edu/ext/.

Once you’ve had a chance to browse our site, you’ll find handy links to dozens of other Web sites around the country and even the world. Here are just a few of the sites that you’ll be able to access from our home page.
