Town hall series to focus on Purdue graduate student experience
The Graduate School at Purdue University is hosting a town hall series for graduate students on the West Lafayette campus throughout the 2021-22 academic year. The one-hour events, organized by college, will give graduate students the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback about their graduate experience at Purdue, and raise any areas of concern.
Linda Mason, dean of the Graduate School and professor of entomology, is hosting a series of town halls for graduate students throughout the 2021-22 academic year.
The town halls will be led by Linda Mason, dean of the Graduate School and professor of entomology.
“Primarily these will be listening sessions,” Mason said. “I want to hear firsthand from Purdue graduate students. What are your questions? What’s going well? What are your challenges and pain points? What feedback do you have about graduate school at Purdue? This is your time to share and be heard.”
Graduate students will receive an email invitation when their school’s town hall is set. Registration is not required. These events will not be livestreamed or recorded. Anyone who wants to hear from graduate students is welcome to attend. Contact gradschoolcom@purdue.edu for questions or clarifications.
