Welcome to the Interfraternity Council

IFC Officers

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is a governing body representing 39 member fraternities at Purdue University. The IFC consists of 5 executive board members, 9 directors, 5 associate board members, and the Presidents' Council composed of the chapter president of each member fraternity. It is our goal to provide our community with any assistance they might need while promoting the fraternal movement at Purdue and beyond.

We strive to promote excellence in all aspects of fraternity life, especially academic success. IFC fraternities work in conjunction with the other 4 councils in the Fraternity, Sorority, and Cooperative Life (FSCL) community to support membership development and serve the Purdue and Greater Lafayette communities. The IFC advances the community in these areas through director positions focused on community development, scholarship, philanthropy, community service, member education, alumni, and public relations.
