Kortney Hargrove (she/her) has been with Purdue University since June of 2022. She is a Senior Administrative Assistant for Faculty Affairs in the College of Liberal Arts. Since coming to Purdue, she has wanted to find and foster community with other LGBTQ staff and faculty which is what led to the resurgence of PEP. She has a love for reading and music. Kortney can often be found binge reading entire books series in her free time. She has a soft spot for feeding people and will find any reason to bake something. She is an empathetic person and enjoys helping others find their happiness. That is the ultimate goal with bringing PEP back together, having a safe space and sense of community for all.
Molly (he/she/they/all) was raised in Southern California, Molly moved to Indiana in 2013 to attend Purdue University. Molly graduated in 2017 with his BA in liberal arts and has remained in the Greater Lafayette area, where he has found a great queer community. She began working for Entomology in 2018 and is set to complete her MSHE in student affairs through Purdue Global in 2023. Molly has a passion for creating and advocating for services and programming that acknowledge, respect, and celebrate intersectional identities. They joined the PEP board to help facilitate interpersonal connections in the queer Purdue employee community. Outside of work and class, Molly enjoys supporting local theater, analyzing films, singing karaoke, and marveling at their tiny hamsters. They want to help create opportunities for community building with queer Purdue employees as well as encourage Greater Lafayette queer community involvement.
We are also fortunate to be joined by an additional board member who wishes to keep their identity anonymous while serving the community.
