PICR Career Research Achievement Award
Purpose:
The Purdue Institute for Cancer Research (PICR) seeks to recognize strong scientific/scholarly contributions as a result of work completed in their role as a PICR member. For this award, the PICR seeks candidates who have demonstrated a sustained and significant impact on their field and national and international recognition for their work.
Criteria:
Tenured Full professors are eligible and the nominee must have been on faculty for at least three years prior to the nomination.
Nomination Procedure:
- Nominations should be submitted as a single PDF file here by March 3, 2025.
- The Senior Leadership team will serve as the selection committee.
- The nomination must include in the following order:
- Cover page (template below)
- Letter of nomination
- CV
- Letter of support from one other reference, either another PICR member or a cancer research external to Purdue.
- If an external reviewer, a one-paragraph description or a website link with the credentials of the external reviewer
Recognition: The awardee will be announced at the Spring Awards Ceremony and will receive a monetary award of $1,000 and a plaque.
