Grant Street closure to continue as construction on Dudley Hall and Lambertus Hall nears completion

A portion of Grant Street will remain closed as construction on Dudley Hall and Lambertus Hall is expected to be complete this fall. Grant Street between Northwestern Avenue and the access road north of the Purdue Memorial Union will remain closed to vehicular traffic through mid-December for continued bicycle track and utility work.

Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will still be maintained along both sides of Grant Street with occasional detours near Grissom Hall (GRIS) and Knoy Hall of Technology (KNOY) may be accessed from Northwestern Avenue.

Access to GRIS and Brown Laboratory of Chemistry (BRWN) will still be maintained for deliveries.

Lane restrictions that have been in place along the southbound Northwestern Avenue near the Grant Street intersection are scheduled to be removed by Saturday (Aug. 20).

Pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists should continue to be cautious in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate routes.
