South Russell Street restrictions, closures begin June 17

Updated June 13, 2019 to reflect a new title and revised schedule – originally titled “South Russell Street restrictions, closures begin June 10”

For approximately the next two weeks, various sections of South Russell Street will be closed or restricted while road work is done.

The area located just north of Harrison Street will be closed approximately June 17-19. In the days following, a section of the street located west of Lilly Hall of Life Sciences will be restricted with flaggers present to direct traffic.

Throughout the week of June 24, restrictions will shift along South Russell Street between Harrison and State Streets, and adjacent parking will be temporarily unavailable.

Work is weather dependent, and the schedule may shift accordingly.

Motorists should use caution in the vicinity and obey all signs and flaggers.
