Purdue Coaching Community plans introductory event

May 8, 2015

The newly formed Purdue Coaching Community will host its first networking event at 3-4:30 p.m. on May 20 as an opportunity to share knowledge, ask questions and further develop the vision and direction for this community in order to best meet the needs and interests of all members.

The event will be in the Discovery Learning and Research Center, Room 131. Refreshments will be provided.

This first event also will introduce PCC goals and structure, which will allow for various levels of participation in this "community of practice." Attendees, by sharing their knowledge and experience, will help shape a definition of coaching as it applies to higher education settings. There will be time also to learn about and practice basic coaching skills, to ask questions and to network with other campus professionals who share a common interest in coaching.

PCC programming is open to staff, faculty and graduate students who currently use coaching or have an interest in learning about and using coaching in higher education settings. To RSVP for this event and/or to receive updates about future PCC offerings, click here.
