Independent Interdisciplinary Graduate Program accepting applications
November 12, 2014
The Purdue Graduate School is now taking applications for the Independent Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (I-IGP).
The goal of I-IGP is to attract outstanding graduate students who are interested in unique, interdisciplinary research areas that might not otherwise be available or apparent from traditional programs. The program is designed to be highly flexible in order to allow participating graduate students to tailor their graduate coursework and research to their individual needs and interests while providing appropriate faculty oversight.
The program was developed through the efforts of the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships and the Graduate School and will be administered by the Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs in the Graduate School.
The deadline to be considered for summer or fall entry is March 1. Admissions criteria and other information about the program are available here. For more information, contact Jon A. Story, senior associate dean in the Graduate School, at jastory@purdue.edu or 49-67352.
