CSSAC welcomes new members, recognizes outgoing members

Mitzi Barnett became chair and 12 new members began their terms on the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee for 2014-15 on Sept. 9 during the group's meeting.

Cheryl Files, completing her term as CSSAC chair, passed the gavel to Barnett during a luncheon ceremony before the meeting. Peggy MacNorton is now vice chair.

Files and outgoing members Peggie Haq, Madonna Ritter, Melissa Schwartz, Anna Sledd, Matilda Stokes and Clarence Tennis III were recognized during the luncheon.

The new members are:

* Sally Akers, College of Pharmacy, District I.

* Cynthia Marin Bonwell, College of Education administration, District I.

* Bruce Burdick, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne representative, District V.

* Philip Cederquist, Food Stores, District IV.

* Jill Clauson, School of Mechanical Engineering, District I.

* Tiffany Eakin, Libraries, District I.

* John Frigo, College of Agriculture Administration, District I.

* Joan Goetz, Department of Consumer Science, District I.

* Brenda Gunion, Department of Anthropology, District I.

* Cindy Sanders, Discovery Park administration, District II.

* Troy Seymour, Building Services, District III.

* Casey Spencer, College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital, District I.
